DIY projects/presents

This year for Christmas I made a few projects for presents and I loved how they turned out so I thought I'd share.
Here are some hair clips I made to match Lizzie's dress and skirt.  Her skirt is made of the two fabrics on the left and her Christmas dress was red and black to match the silk flower I did.  Somehow I haven't got a picture of the skirt, which turned out super cute.  If I can find matching fabric I'll probably make some skirts for Lizzie and her two cousins for my sister's wedding coming up.  I also made a frame with ribbons across it to clip hair things on to, but Lizzie thought it was a toy and I need to fix it. :)
This is the necklace I made for my mom and Spencer's mom.  I'm not a jewelry person at all, but as I made these I loved them!
This picture isn't really great, but it shows the gist of it.  I made a FHE board to hang up in our home and some bottle cap magnets for each person.  You can even see the magnets of Daniel and Lizzie that I made for all the grandparents.  Lizzie loves deciding what she'll be in charge of because she always wants song and treat.
I love having quiet activities for sacrament meeting.  These are the drawing books I put together for Spencer, Daniel, and Lizzie.  I just bought cheap $1 spiral bound index cards and then found pictures of Christ for each person.  Spencer's favorite is the Jerusalem one, Lizzie's is Christ with the little girl, and Daniel's is the little boy poking His nose.  The last seemed so like Daniel!
These hats are not a project I did myself.  One day maybe I'll learn...it could happen!  Until that happens I'm lucky to have a mom that can make these super cute hats!  We bought the yarn for her and she made these so fast.  Lizzie calls hers the fluffy hat.  We realized the last snowstorm that we didn't really have hats for most of us so now my mom got us all decked out.  I might feel huge and pregnant, but man I feel cute when I wear that hat. :)
