So one of the main reasons I struggle with blogging is because I get behind and feel like I have to catch up. From now on I'm not worrying about that. I treasure every post I've written and would hate to put something off just because I got behind. Anywho well I figured for this week I'd just write something I absolutely am loving right now. Let's start with little miss Mae. She is such a cutie! My favorite thing she does right now is her chubby toothless grin. She gives her grins away to anyone and everyone! Here's her 6 month pic.
Told ya she LOVES dresses!
Oh Daniel, Daniel, Daniel. Man I love that crazy boy. I want to freeze him. He just can't be older. I don't why, but his personality he just has to stay this age forever. Those cheeks, and eyes, and smirks. Sigh, alas he will not, but my favorite thing about this little cutie is how he's so cuddly. Bedtime requires several hugs and kisses, and you can't just give them to him, he has to give them to you too. Reading books he always wants to be on your lap (even when Logan tries to take over). He still talks at only one decibel, LOUD! The upside is, watching his veins stick out on his neck is hilarious. It makes it hard to take him serious. :) He's our little salesman. He'll try to con anyone who has something he wants by offering a trade. "Logan don't you want this way cool batman wrapper?" He loves his video games. He gets 30 min. each day, but only after he's done all his school work (5 pages), a chore, and got dressed. This means at times we find him trying to do his school work at 5 AM, so we had to explain AGAIN about not coming out of the room until it's light. At least I've got a good motivator for him though, right? Here are his 4 yr pics.
In this pic we told him to be Mario, so he's jumping of course.
Logan boy! Man is he a handful! It's a good thing he's so cute, because lately he is raging through the terrible twos. He's constantly trying to push/shove/hit/kick/bite/you get the idea. I'm constantly reminding myself to be patient with this monkey. Lately my favorite thing about him is his accent. If you've never been around him, man are you missing out. Spence and I work with him on his speech (which he does awesome when we're working on it), but while he's still figuring out how to say things right I'm going to enjoy his little British accent and southern drawl. It depends on the day which it sounds more like, but I love it! He's always so quick to say thank you and just wants to be included with everything. Not surprising since when I found out I was pregnant with him I knew it was because this spirit couldn't wait to get here with Lizzie and Daniel. I sure wasn't wrong on that! All he wants to do is be with them all the time. This is a pic I took when he climbed this tree, right before I got him down since he got himself stuck. :)
Ahh Sparky! I love him so crazy much! He works hard so I can stay home with the kids. Lately he just keeps getting more and more in tune with the spirit and I'm amazed at the man he is. I'm seriously lucky! He's my best friend and I love how creative he is. When things go crazy, like driving for 17 hrs with kids when it should have been 10, he just rolls with it and we all have a good time. Seriously though, neither one of us needs to go back to Oregon anytime soon after that 17 hrs. Yeesh! I love who I get to be with him, just my regular young self, playing video games, jumping on the tramp, dart gun wars, etc. I chose this pic because Charlotte Mae goes super crazy when she hears his voice on the phone or when he gets home. She gets crazy smiley although I've yet to catch a pic of that moment, but she adores her daddy.
Next is Lizzie. Can I say how glad I am to be doing homeschool? I can't imagine the stuff she and I would be missing if she were out of the home the majority of the time from now until she leaves for college. One of my favorite things she does right now is write love notes to us and tape them up around the house. She's also our main fruit slicer. Today she sliced up an awesome honey dew. She's reading on a high 1st grade/low 2nd grade level right now. If she could wear a dress every day of the week, she'd be over the moon happy! These are pics from her 6 yr photos.
