Once again I had to go in and get induced with this pregnancy. Spence and I went prepared with the Xbox since we were in the delivery room for more than 12 hours with both Lizzie and Daniel. It probably sounds weird, but it was a great morning we spent together playing Halo Anniversary and Mass Effect 3 while my mom and dad took care of Lizzie and Daniel. Luckily they didn't wait too long to break my water this time since obviously my body wants to keep the babies in as long as possible. We got to the hospital at 7 on Monday and by 3:30 we had our cute little guy here with all his crazy cute brown hair. The doctors kept joking about how everyone should have a labor like mine, playing video games, enjoying tiger's blood ice, and napping right before delivery. Not that Daniel and Lizzie were hard, cause really they were pretty easy too, but with Logan I literally pushed three times during one contraction and he was here. I don't know how long it'll last, but he's been a great little newborn so far. He's such a calm little guy, great at eating and sleeping. Lizzie and Daniel absolutely adore him! Lizzie's nervous about holding him, but is always kissing and touching him. She hated leaving him here at the hospital last night. Daniel didn't care at first because he was so excited to just see Daddy, big shocker! After he realized Spencer wasn't going anywhere he wanted to get in on the action too. He kept trying to climb up to see Logan. I'm sure he's mostly interested to see someone who's smaller than he is. I love our growing family! Here are some pictures of the first couple days with Logan.
I normally don't include pictures before they're cleaned up, but I couldn't resist this one with the look on his face.
Snuggling with our little guy right after they weighed him.
I love the next set of pictures. Daniel is crazy about Logan. He climbed up and you can see the grin on his face. Lizzie then saw and wanted to join her brothers, which of course Daniel didn't like. He tried to tackle her. Then in the last one he's pouting because I made him share Logan with Lizzie.
At home, again Daniel and Lizzie are obsessed with their new little brother. Luckily they actually are really good at helping just the right amount, usually. :)
I had to snag this picture with Dr. Flinders. He delivered me and my siblings, except for my oldest brother David and has been my doctor ever since. He's amazing! I knew he was nearing retirement, and deserves it, even if I want him to keep working. :) Little did I know that Logan would be his last delivery. I feel so blessed to have had such an amazing doctor that was so personal and caring with my family.

Congratulations! What a cute baby! That's too funny that you played video games when you were in labor. So you didn't get an epidural with any of your babies? You make it seem so easy. I'm super scared of pregnancy/labor - so your blog entry calmed my fears a bit. I'm happy for you! You have a beautiful family :)
